Downtown comes alive with events for all ages throughout the year. From seasonal celebrations and sidewalk sales to parades and family-friendly activities, there’s always a reason to gather. Our historic streets provide the perfect backdrop for making memories, connecting with neighbors, and celebrating what makes our community special.
Spring

Mid June–Oct: Thu 3–6p. - Saturday Art Market – Big Ole Park – 9–12pm
Hosted by the Arts Initiative of Douglas County, the Saturday Art Market features work from a variety of local artisans. Find a variety of art from photography and pottery to knit accessories and jewelry, and much more. - Vikingland Band Festival – Sunday, June 28
