Alexandria Inc.
Downtown Alexandria Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to revitalize Downtown Alexandria, MN through events, beautification, property improvements, marketing, and more. It represents and promotes Downtown holistically with the belief that a strong, vibrant Downtown benefits the entire community and is a vital part of what makes Alexandria such an attractive destination to live, work, and play.
Our History & Partnerships
The organization furthers the work begun by the Alexandria Downtown Merchants Association, including Downtown beautification efforts such as the Downtown Flower Baskets Campaign, events including Spring and Fall Shop Hops and Crazy Days, and marketing. While we partner with other community organizations and the city of Alexandria, we are a separate entity exclusively devoted to advocating for and working on behalf of Downtown and the business owners, tenants, and residents in the Central Business District of Alexandria.
